Virtual Tours – Experimenting :)
Today Nabil and I started using the Virtual Tour software for property viewings.
Today, Nabil and I started experimenting a bit with Virtual Tour software and equipment. Our motivation is to be able to convey the feel of a property even better online for you. And we simply felt like it 🙂
We got ourselves a RICOH Theta Z camera —it costs around 1,000 euros and is praised in all tests as a great all-rounder for photo and video. One level up it quickly becomes significantly more expensive; the premium class is somewhere between 3,500 and 15,000 euros. For getting started, certainly unnecessary—we’re more of the bottleneck than the equipment …
Virtual Tours – Learning from the Pros
Ben Claremont, a well-known YouTuber on the topic of 360-degree virtual tours, recommends kuula in one of his posts. We immediately created a free account and also find the cloud solution very beginner-friendly and the workflow very fast. Here you can quickly “cobble together” tours without any prior knowledge! What bothers us about the free version is that you can’t display any buttons or waypoints. So you can build them into the tours, but they won’t be shown. Otherwise, it’s a nice, no-frills software that probably covers 90% of use cases, and the paid plans are reasonably priced too.

Over the next few days, we’ll continue testing mobile apps, try out other virtual tour software, and keep showing you the results.
We’re really looking forward to your feedback. Questions and suggestions, but also criticism, are very welcome!
As an aside: The apartment that Nabil “toured” is our latest acquisition in Palma. Beautiful interior design. High-quality and like new! Absolutely central location in the Old Town, around the corner from Plaza Mayor, on Calle Rubi. It has two bedrooms and a wonderful sense of space!
